ITSE Panama and iQTEK sign agreement to provide ICT education

With a view to continuing to strengthen technological, scientific and academic cooperation relations, the Specialized Higher Technical Institute of Panama and iQTEK Solutions signed an agreement with the objective of providing short-cycle higher education in technology and innovation demanded by the productive sectors.

Dr. Milena Gómez Cedeño, Educational Manager and Rector of ITSE, highlighted that this agreement is necessary to establish relations of cooperation and understanding in order to support the promotion and development of human talent and higher technical education with a view to carrying out actions and services of professional training and technical assistance in various technological fields.

Roberto Rodríguez, CEO of iQtek indicated that as a socially responsible company they assume the commitment to bring knowledge of technology to the new generation, with the intention that the digital divide that still prevails in Latin America continues to progressively close.

Within the agreement it was established: to generate joint strategies that support the promotion and development of human talent and higher technical education; exchange of experiences, documents, information and knowledge of the achievements and results of research, as well as developing collaborative training programs, exchange of information and materials that are of mutual interest; develop joint research projects, studies and consultancies according to the regulations and possibilities of each entity; and joint institutional capacity development projects.
